Account Executive Supplier Relations

Our platform connects corporations, procurement managers and meeting planners with more than 500,000 hotels and meeting venues in 150+ countries.

Nurturing and expanding our supplier relations with hotels and meeting venues is only becoming more important for us. We are becoming more strategic and intentional about which venues we add to our network, driven by what our corporate clients need and where our growth ambitions take us. We are expanding internationally, which means proactively building supplier relationships well beyond the Netherlands. And we are doubling down on AI and smart tooling so our sales people can spend as much time as possible on what matters most: building new relationships and closing commercial deals.

As Account Executive Supplier Relations, you are responsible for growing our network of venues and driving commercial results. This is primarily a sales role: your success is measured by the deals you close and the targets you hit. Secondly, maintaining those relationships is crucial to renew and expand our partnerships and keep venues active and engaged on the platform.

You report to the Director Supplier Relations and work in a small team that is actively evolving: more international, more targeted in which venues we pursue, and more supported by technology to help you focus on selling.

Your responsibilities

• Closing commission contracts with new and existing venues

• Selling recurring marketing packages to new and existing venues within our network, through active prospecting and sales to venues both in the Netherlands and internationally

• Managing a portfolio of venue accounts with a focus on renewing and growing commission and marketing package contracts with existing suppliers

• Driving adoption of our online booking platform, instant booking functionalities and other venue features. And spotting sales opportunities for our tech subscriptions to venues

• Conducting web demos to onboard new venues and increase platform usage

• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure venues are set up for success on the platform

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in hospitality or travel. Experience in a B2B software environment is not a must, but an advantage. Good understanding of the hotels or meetings and events industry, or software sales is a plus

• A commercial mindset and a natural drive to close: you are motivated by sales targets and hitting them

• Comfortable picking up the phone, reaching out to new contacts and following through consistently

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Hands-on, independent and results-oriented

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of autonomy

• Ability to understand our products and technology in depth, in order to improve your sales performance

• Affinity with digital tools and AI to work smarter and more efficiently is a plus

• Willingness to occasionally travel to fairs and events, both nationally and internationally

• Fluent in English. Fluency in Dutch is an advantage; additional languages are a plus given our international ambitions
